I have another show to rave about…New Girl.
I watched the first episode on TV when it first came out over here, thought it was over-the-top, and didn’t watch again, but this weekend I needed something light and fun to lift me up so I thought i’d give it another shot, and I got hooked.
I watched the whole first 19 episodes in one sitting, I just couldn’t get enough and I think this is going to be a go-to for when I need that lift. It’s like a good Crusie book but in TV format.
I love Jess, mainly because there is so much about her that makes me go ‘OMG that’s me!’ and I absolutely love the sense of community in the show, they’ve all got each others backs no matter what. There also has not been an episode yet where I haven’t laughed out loud.
So, if you need a show to cheer you up i’m recommending this one.

I am seconding your recommendation. HILARIOUS!!! We’ve been watching it from the beginning.
Wanna know why? Cuz ZD is a friend of Craig’s and HE recommended it.

Absolutely love the show. It has that feel good feeling that comes from being able to relate to the characters. ; )

I’ll probably accidentally run across it, like it and then forget to watch it. That’s what happens with me and tv. I like ZD, though.

I do the same thing, so glad that they have them available whenever you want online now, that way I can just watch them whenever I remember š

It’s a really great show; my favorite part being the bromance between the three guys.

I love that show–was just watching tonight! Except the last couple episodes (I missed a few in Nanaimo) I feel like they made Jess a bit more the straight man, and Nick more of the funny man. Which I don’t care for. Because a big part of the appeal for me is a female character who’s the funniest one.
I downloaded the free ep 1 from apple of the other show you mentioned, but haven’t watched it yet!

Yes, I agree with you, they do seem to have started making Jess the straight one and I don’t like it either. I didn’t ‘lol’ once in the last episode š¦
I’ll be interested to hear if you like the other one or not.
